Why do my video files turn to 0 bytes after i copy it to my usb drive?

Hello, I want to transfer some video files to a usb with 2tb. when i copy the video, it seems alright but it has a common speed of 10mb/s. And when it is done, somehow it says that it is unsupported or corrupt. its supposed to have a thumbnail, but its just the normal video player thumbnail with its logo on it on a paper. Help me please :[
