Why does my pc not detect my headset but it detects my mic on my headset?

My pc detects my headset mic but not the headset itself so i dont have audio. I cant find my output device anywhere in the settings. The microphone however shows up and works. My headset does not appear here.The microphone on my headset appears and works.
