Internet Time

I would like my windows XP box to sync it's time automaticaly. On my other

XP machines always had a internet time tab on the Date and Time Dialog box

(Control Panel>Date and Time) but this box does not have that tab. Is there

a way to install that tab / force it to show? I have service pack 3, so I

don't think I am missing any features.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

The date and time was 10/16/2008 1:56 PM, and on a whim, Terry pounded

out on the keyboard:

Hi Terry,

Click Start, Run, type services.msc and click OK. Check to see if

Windows Time is started and Startup Type is set to Automatic.

Also, if you're on a domain, it's not needed either.

Re: Internet Time

Is your XP in a domain? The tab disappears if you're in a domain.
