Microsoft is advising us to check whether our laptops can take Windows 11. On the face of it, my laptop meets all the requirements, except that the processor does not meet the requirements. ("Currently" Is there any chance it will be supported in the future?)The processor is a core i5-7200U which seems to have been introduced in 2016. So not that old, compared to some. My understanding is that Windows 11 will only work on something that starts with an 8, rather than 7200. How come such a recent processor fails the test? Was I sold a duff laptop?
