I understand (I think) how Power Rename works, and can rename elements of file names with it. But what I want to do is to replace the file name (only) with a completely random set of characters. I don't care about retaining any of the existing names. In this case, its a folder of about 1500 photos which I want to display in a completely random order.Power Rename wants you to identify the parts of the files you want to change using a string of characters in the "Search For" box. There is no string of characters in the file names common to my 1500 files. If I type .jpg, I do get a selectio
