Hi, I have noticed faint lines at the top of my screen

The number of them changes every time I turn on my laptop (hp zbook 15g5). The lines are also there in the bios . the screen flickers periodically too. I have taken the laptop apart to reseat the display cables but that did nothing so I was wondering if you have any troubleshooting i could try or if this is a display issue instead. Thank you for your help
