windows 10 My games darken in fullscreen

Some games i play darken when in fullscreen or borderless window. I think this started happening when i opened NVIDIA control panel for the first time but i didn't change anything. I tried everything that i found on the internet (updating my drivers, i checked the adaptive brightness setting and the power saving settings, i even did a factory reset). It is really bothering me as the games that do this are basicly unplayable without fullsreen.
