How to fix the BSOD with stop code: DRIVER POWER STATE FAILURE?

After installing the nvidia driver on windows 10 a blue screen of death appears with stop code: DRIVER POWER STATE FAILURE, I tried the latest nvidia driver from the official website and from the manufacturer website but the problem still persists. i don't think that my nvidia graphic card is faulty because i can install nvidia driver on Linux without problems or crashes and i can run Linux on nvidia (performance mode) so what's your explanation for my problem on Windows 10?
