unable to remove disconnected mapped drive

had an issue i found on these pages without an answer on how to fix it. i had a network drive i gave the drive letter X, that i disconnected. which then turned into a local drive with the drive letter X. there was no option to disconnect it. i could not go into it cause it said i didnt have permission. it also did not show up in windows drive management, but did show up in 3rd party partition software. from the looks of it, it was the 100mb boot partition windows 10 creates when installing windows. so how to remove the drive letter so it doesn't appear in explorer when there are no options in
