Guest shimh Posted October 17, 2008 Posted October 17, 2008 I have problem in controlling which devices are allowed to be enabled and disabled by users on Remote Desktop Tab of TS Web Access. I have set "true" to XClipboard and xDriverRedirection, and "false" to other redirection options in Application Settings of ts website. But the ts web page does not honor such changes (Printers option is still enabled and Drives option is disabled). Any one knows the fix? Thanks.
Guest Patrick Rouse Posted October 19, 2008 Posted October 19, 2008 RE: Unable to control of device redirection options on TS Web Access Are you also going thru TS Gateway, or another SSL Gateway? If not, then users can easily bypass whatever settings you define on TSweb, as they can connect directly with any RDP client, using whatever settings they want. Please provide more information about your environment. -- Patrick C. Guest shimh Posted October 22, 2008 Posted October 22, 2008 RE: Unable to control of device redirection options on TS Web Acce RE: Unable to control of device redirection options on TS Web Acce Yes, it is thru TS gateway. I have used group policy to diable certain redirections. but i would like that users has ability to choose enabling or disabling drives redirection and clipboard on the web page. However, in my situation, clipboard is fine since the option is available (black color) by default, but users cannot enable drives redirection since that option is diabled (grey color). It is supposed that i can configure them in ts's application settings in iis. But the settings are not honored somehow. Please check if the TS CAP device redirection settings are proeprly configured. -ram. -- This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights. Guest shimh Posted October 23, 2008 Posted October 23, 2008 Re: Unable to control of device redirection options on TS Web Acce Re: Unable to control of device redirection options on TS Web Acce On NAP TS Gateway network policies, TSG-Device-Redirection is set to 22, which leaves drives and clipboard open. I guess ts cap is not the cause. "Ramasamy Pullappan [MSFT]" wrote: > The TS CAPs on the TS Gateway have a device redirection setting and I guess > that has been disabled in your TS CAP.
