Windows Login and Logoff Sounds not working, events not shown in list

I'm having an issue where the Windows login and logout sounds are not playing.It looks like the Windows Login and Windows Logoff events aren't actually listed in the Program Events list:How might I resolve this? I've tried rebooting my computer, and the sounds are still not playing.
