This is something that worked simply and very well in older versions of Windows, but now turning off the display after some minutes of non-activity will always lock the computer.How do I NOT lock the computer when the screen goes off? My computer is in my study, and it is very secure as far as I am concerned. I don't want to have to present my finger prints every time I step out.Note: setting the Screen Saver to Blank is not an option. The display port still outputs a signal, but it is a black signal. My external monitor still sees the positive signal and does not go to sleep.
