Snipping Tool Not working

Recently, snipping tool has not been working. I tried restarting my computer. redownloading snipping tool, and un installing recent updates, but the problem continues. I try and capture the screenshot with the rectangle feature and the app closes before I have time to finish. It then captures very little of what I intend to. This is super annoying. I tried snip it, the more recent version. One i do not like the speed of it because it seems slower and 2 i get the same issue. What is going on and can we get it fixed. I see a few people online having issues with this and tried all the solutions
