Unable to log in to device OR use password or PIN

After a failure to install bios updates, I'm unable to log in to my device.PIN sign-in option is not available for some unknown reason and password does not work even after resetting it on my account.live.com account.Clicking on the forgot passwrod during log in on the device also does not work, it simply brings me back to the login screen. The same with clicking on Set up PIN.Resetting laptop is not possible in safe mode cause the password is not accepted.
