How to update MicroSoft Store

My MicroSoft Store has said that it will update before I can do anything on the app but when I click update it takes about 5 minutes saying working the whole time and then it resets but when I open the app again it still says update before doing anything. I've reseted the app many times and used the code in the run app to download it again but nothing has seemed to work.
