How to change sensitivity of mouse double-click

I have Motor Neurone Disease (MND) and my body is slowing down. This is affecting the way I use a mouse. However there are other side effects like muscle shake so now whenever I single click it reads as a double click. It's become very frustrating.While windows has a slide under mouse properties to adjust the threshold for double-clicking this opens up the pause between clicks, it doesn't have a slider to affect the other end of the scale and let you set a minimum between clicks to stop really fast clicking from nerve issues.I found one other person on here with same question a couple of years
