windows 11 Widgets panel not working correctly

I am using windows 11, build 26100.2454. for the last few days the widgets flyout is broken. It opens when I hover the taskbar icon but won't close when I move the mouse away. Sometimes it closes when i click the desktop, other times I have to click on the icon again. The transparency is also not working. In Dark theme it opens without transparency, but it I click on the taskbar icon while it's open the transparency will appear (though at a much lower transparency level than before). This doesn't work with the Light theme active; the transparency is just gone. I've toggled this feature on and
