How can I retrieve activation key from a different SSD drive

HiI recently changed my motherboard and installed a new copy of Windows 10 Home to my M.2 drive. Previously my Windows 10 Home was installed in one of the SSDs connected via SATA. I would like to know if there is a way I can retrieve the copy of the key to activate windows from one SSD to another. Is this possible? I have lost my Windows CD which had the key on it. Do I have to buy a new copy of windows? Please advise. Thank you
