windows 11 the resolution and settings on my monitor change how do i get them back

After the updates KB5046740 and KB5048162. the resolution and setting changed. when i go to resolution in the display settings its greyed out so i cant change it. I've tried to uninstall the updates but whenever i restart my pc when it tells me to it automatically re-installs the updates. i cant access Nvidia control panel and i cant download any drivers from the Nvidia app. in advanced display settings my monitor only shows 1 module now aswell.
