Windows XP Logon - Auto

Hello, please could I ask for some tips from more expert users of XP.

I have a standard PC running XP Pro with an Administrator account.

Our need is to add a limited user account, I know how to do this.

Ideally what I need to happen is when the PC starts up it automatically logs

onto the Limited account. Its for a hospital radio station and runs some

overnight music. The program would be in the start up menu but I just need

the PC to log into the Limited account as there may be no one around.

Many thanks for your help

You can do this by installing Tweak UI (free) from Microsoft. When

installed, start TweakUI and locate the Logon > Autologon section and

follow the directions.

Run 'control userpaswords2'

Select the required acccount

UNtick 'Users must supply a password..''

Apply.

Give the password.
