making mirror on server 2008 gives disk space error

Hi

 

as per istruction both my disk 0 and disk 1 are dynamic and of same size

when i try to right click and add mirror and select disk 1 i get error

saying that "there is not enough disk space to perform this operation" there

is no programs running at all..

 

i tried searching solution but failed..

 

please help.

hi there? have you created a volume on the second disk to use as the mirror

volume? You must have a volume to mirror to not just an empty disk.

HI james

 

no you dont have to create any volume or else add mirror will be greyed

out.. disk 1 has to be left un allocated..

this is something new i dont know. lets see if some MVP answers...
