Bypassing Setup PIN on Startup

I had to reset my son’s pc, and boot in safe mode. Now when I turn it on it tells me the pin needs to be reset but when you click on the reset pin a box quickly flashes on the screen and disappears leaving me nowhere to reset the pin. Is someone able to tell me how to get around this so I can turn off the pin on start up request in windows?
