windows 11 Windows 24H2 update messed with drivers

Hi, my computer did the update to the latest windows, once it finished I would get a pop up saying a driver could not be loaded. Tried to fix it, updated everything I could possibly update, nothing worked. A friend told me to run DirectX End-User Runtimes, which fixed the issue for the driver pop up. But now I cannot play games from steam, my whole computer freezes up. So I repaired my drivers, repaired the windows update etc. still can’t play my games and now the resolution changes on its own.
