I have a Samsung Galaxy phone (an Android), and I use the native Camera and Gallery app to take and save photos. I had over 1000 such photos from May 2024 through today on the computer. Every few months I back them up onto my PC, then delete them from my phone (to save space). Today, I did what I always do and "cut" and "paste" the photos as a group over to my PC folder while the Android is plugged into the PC. However, apparently I accidentally copied them into the recycling bin, which auto-deletes them instead. I later recreated this with a single test file, and this is the warning message t
