Locked out of my laptop after BIOS update, PIN erased

I've seen this asked many times, but I can't find a solution. I bought a laptop in 2021 for a single purpose. I only use it a dozen times a year. When I bought it, it had me create a microsoft account and set up a PIN. The laptop is rarely on the internet and it kept telling me I had updates that needed to be installed. So I made the mistake of finally doing the updates. This included a BIOS update apparently. After the update, it tells me my PIN has been wiped out and I have to reset it. I tried to log into my microsoft account, but I don't have the correct password. It eventually locked me o
