Windows auto-resizing when using a KVM

I use a KVM to share one display (5120 X 1440) with multiple PCs running various operating systems. With the recently installed Windows 11 updates (Windows 11, version 24H2 - 12/2/2024), I suddenly have a new "feature" I do not like on my Windows 11 PC, and that is that when I switch away using the KVM and then switch back, all my windows are resized to a smallish form factor, and stacked on top of each other, almost as if they are all snapped to the same (upper left corner) area of the screen. Snap is NOT active, and like I say, this seems to be new behavior as of the last update. Any sugge
