Why isn't my razer headset detected by the realtek control panel?

i recently bought a new headset, that has a 3,5 mm jack, when i plug it in my laptop asks me what device did I plug in, I click on headset(with microphone), and I click ok, but it doesn't show on the control panel. When I want to set it on default device I can't do it because it does not appear on the control panel again. The default device for input is Microphone(realtek audio) and the default output device is Speakers/Headphones(realtek audio). The headset also has additional buttons such as a mute button and a sound wheel. I updated my audio drivers so I don't think that is the problem. I'm
