windows 11 Laptop black screen and odd power and charger light behaviour.

My laptop has black screen and no fan running however the power light remained on. When I plugged in my laptop the charger light remained off. Presumably, my laptop is now dead as the power light is off and only turns on when I plug into the charger, notes despite this charger light is still off.. I have tried holding the power button down for hard shutdown and a forced reset to no avail. The power light (when the laptop is charged or being charged) will turn off eventually but will remain on the second I let it go. I have also tried blind BIOS reset, maybe I was doing wrong though.
