My son has converted to Ubuntu recently and is really enjoying the experience. Apart from one major problem. He would love to be able to play his favourite online game 'Minecraft'. He has Googled everywhere for help but nothing he tries works. Any ideas please?

According to the Minecraft website you should be able to install Sun Java, download the Minecraft .jar file and run it. Have you tried that?
