Bottom Taskbar Unresponsive

I updated my computer recently, after restart all my apps pinned to taskbar disappeared and my Windows icon at the bottom left corner along with the search bar are unresponsive. I have also noticed that my computer screen flashes white in the taskbar area. If this happens while typing into any text area I will be kicked out of the text area. I tried going into settings to revert the update but clicking on the windows icon doesn't work and using the windows key doesn't work (I have tried with other keyboards).
