OK, so I tried the below directions, but the properties page is locked. there is no dropdown. Now what to do?To change a media file's type from "Other" to "Videos" in Windows Media Player (WMP), you need to add the file to your video library by right-clicking on the file in the library, selecting "Properties," and then ensuring the "Media type" is set to "Video" within the file's properties window.
