Will the 24H2 Win 11 update be forced, eventually?

My only Windows install is a VM under Oracle VirtualBox 7.1.4. I understand that 24H2 is not reliable as a VM under VB. So... is there a way to assured that I won't be required to upgrade to 24H2 without turning off updates? I really want to receive security updates at a minimum.
