windows 10 Bluetooth doesn't work even though it says it's connected until I disconnect and reconnect again

I'm not even expecting a solution to this. This is another perfect example of what should be a very basic function of an OS that MS still can't seem to nail down. I would be willing to bet that Macs don't have this problem. When I wake my pc and turn on my bluetooth speaker, it will show as being connected (in Bluetooth settings) but no sound will come out, (from any applications). Doesn't work until I disconnect and then reconnect the speaker or toggle BT off and back on again. I realize this is a minor inconvenience but I feel like there's tons of these little issues (many which seem like th
