I can no longer link my phone to my laptop. Please help me

My phone was previously connected to my laptop (for months) for transferring pictures. Now, when I try to do it by going to photos on my laptop and pressing on "import", my phone isn't showing up. I have tried different ports, different UBS cables, restarting my phone & laptop, taking Bluetooth off and putting it back on, and unlinking and relinking my phone to my laptop but nothing works. It says on my phone that they are linked but when I try to do it, it just won't show up. Why is it not working anymore and what can I do to rectify it? I really need to get it resolved because I upload
