Windows 11 24h2 bricked my laptop

Tried installing the 24h2 update on my circa 2019 ThinkPad, it is now totally bricked and will not do anything at all. I have tried resetting by holding the power for over 30 seconds, battery is charged, tried to get it to boot in safe mode, tried to get it to boot with any keystroke combination and nothing changes, nothing happens at all. Outside of just sending it away, is there any other solution that could be tried? I have my master's work on this laptop, going back to a factory reset would not be a positive outcome for me.
