razortitan Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 Hey there, I've customised a desktop on Cyberpowersystem.co.uk. I'm looking to spend £500-£800 on a desktop for gaming, predominantly Starcraft2. This current total is £806.40 Inc VAT but i was wondering what everybody thinks. Any better complete desktops or parts for a similar price? •CoolerMaster Elite 310 Mid Tower Gaming Case •CPU: Intel® Core™ i3-2120 Dual Core 3.30 GHz 3M Cache LGA1155 + HD Graphics •HDD: 2TB SATA-III 6.0Gb/s 64M Cache 7200RPM Hard Drive (Single Hard Drive) •MEMORY: 8GB (2x4GB) PC10666 DDR3/1333mhz Dual Channel Memory (Kingston Value Brand) •MOTHERBOARD: Asus P8H61-MX Intel H61 chipset Micro ATX Mainboard w/ 2 RAM slots, 7.1 HD Audio, GbLAN, SATA-II, 1xGen2 PCIe, 1xPCIe , 1 x PCI (B3 Stepping) •SOUND: HIGH DEFINITION ON-BOARD 7.1 AUDIO •VIDEO: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 SE 1GB 16X PCIe Video Card •500 Watts Power Supply And Insurance for 1 year Extras •Logitech MK120 USB Keyboard & Mouse Combo •monitor-19" TFT Active Matrix LCD Display •Creative Fatal1ty Gaming Headset thanks everyone, look forward to hearing from you. KenB Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 Hi and welcome to ExTS It may help if you can give us the actual prices you are paying for each item - it may be possible to suggest alternatives. Also you do not mention an OS. What are you using - presumably 64 bit ? Quote There is an email going around offering processed pork - gelatin - and salt in a can ......this is simply SPAM !!
