Display resolution is greyed out, can not change it please help!

I received my new monitor this morning and i have been trying to solve this issue for hours now. It’s a Casper 21.1” 1080p monitor. But for some reason the display resolution is stuck at 720p and I just can not change it. I tried it on another laptop with the same cable and it just works but it does not work with mine. My laptop is a Monster Abra A7 12.1 which is a Turkish brand. I have not contacted them het since it’s the weekend but I have tried literally everything else I could find online.
