windows 11 wuauserv not stopping, multiple issues with windows update and windows apps

Context will be given below, but when I go into cmd and try to run net stop wuauserv, it says service is starting or stopping.There’s a lot of context here. I was trying to download minecraft dungeons, it didn’t work, so I tried to use xbox app to download it. However, xbox app said it was outdated and to use microsoft store to update. When I tried that, the microsoft store update buttons wouldn’t work for any of the apps. I tried repairing and resetting, it still wouldn’t work.
