The last time I tried to update Windows 11 it told me I didn't have enough space and had to attach an external hard drive, which I did. As it was taking a long time I went away and came back to an error message saying the hard drive wasn't attached (it physically was plugged into a USB port) and a totally unresponsive screen. After using the Microsoft online chat I realised I needed the laptop physically looked at and a shop was able to rescue it by re-installing Windows 11.I am now, a week later, getting a message saying "Your version of Windows 11 has reached end of service.
