Why is trying to update a new copy of Windows 11 on a fresh system an experience much like the experience of torture?

Like holy ****. Every other update freezes in mid download, fails in installation, constipates CATROOT2 and SoftwareDistribution, forcing risky maneuvers to clear it, leading to irremediable errors with ineffective troubleshooting tools, leading to re-install after re-install after re-install.This operating system is a crime against humanity. And I paid over $100 for this experience?
