windows 11 Every time I boot up a game, my internet drops and I get either "the DHCP server isn't responding" or "can't reach the default gateway"

As the title suggests, I have internet connection just fine, but as soon as I boot up a game on Steam that requires connection to game servers, my internet drops. I get the no internet connection icon in the taskbar, and when leaving the troubleshooter open I get "the DHCP server isn't responding" which sometimes then turns into "can't reach the default gateway". I have done some searching and found similar issues but not one like mine, so adding it here for help.Here are some of the solutions I have tried as a result of my search on various threads, all of which have not worked.
