I purchased an HP Victus a couple of days ago specifically to play The Sims 4. I have Windows 11. The EA app would not download so I tried to troubleshoot myself. One of the suggestions was to uninstall the current Microsoft Visual C++ redistributables on the current system and update to the most recent (I have a 64 system). The problem I was having is that I am unable to uninstall or reinstall these programs, it is taking a long time and just stops at "Setup Progress." I ended up cancelling the process which I think messed things up. I attempted to repair the programs and it would still stop
