Multiple problems with Phone Link, help appreciated

Running Windows 10 and the Android phone is a Pixel 8I thought I'd set up Phone Link. Downloaded the app on the phone "Link to Windows". I opened phone link on the PC, scanned the QR code on the phone, went through the code entry process and logged in. Everything went smoothly until the Phone Link app opened and it is permanently "Offline", and the phone is permanently "Disconnected" from the Desktop.If I go into Windows Settings -> Mobile Devices -> click on "Manage devices". Nothing happens. No dialog opens, nothing.If I go to my Microsoft Account online, Android devices -> No devic
