Guest shank Posted October 19, 2008 Posted October 19, 2008 I'm getting the below error in thevent log: The Open Procedure for service "ASP.NET_2.0.50727" in DLL "C:\WINNT\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\aspnet_perf.dll" failed. Google offers a lot of possible 'involved' solutions. So, starting at the beginning... In Add/Remove programs I have... 1) Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 2) Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 Hotfix (KB928366) 3) Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 Hotfix (KB947742) 4) Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 Service Pack 1 I don't see an entry for Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0. Just the SP2. Is the above the correct entries? Should I remove all and start over with .NET 2.0? thanks
Guest Dave Patrick Posted October 19, 2008 Posted October 19, 2008 Re: Open Procedure for service ASP.NET_2.0.50727 You can disable the counter if you don't use them or the service isn't started. You can Add/Remove them by regedit, but it's much easier to use exctrlst.exe (Extensible Counter Listing Tool) Start|Run|Exctrlst -- Regards, Dave Patrick ....Please no email replies - reply in newsgroup.
