windows 11 Headphone microphone turns on whenever it detects audio and a portion of the screen freezes after the 24H2 update

Headphone microphone is turning itself on anytime I open up a video on youtube or listen to a song on spotify, anything that has sound in it makes it turn on no matter how many times I turn it off and half of the screen freezes sometimes at random times for no apparent reason, happens likely when alt tabbing but also happens sometimes when I don't even use the alt tab feature, this is too annoying and it needs to be fixed. I'm already running the latest version of windows updates and drivers for my headphones and graphics card I regret updating to 24H2. Everything was fine in 23H2.
