Guest spook.1987 Posted October 19, 2008 Posted October 19, 2008 Hi there ,i recently bought a second hand PC with window's already installed i tried to get windows media 11 but was told me OS was not genuine and i`m not impressed with the seller,that aside i`m going to buy a key from microsoft online my question is i will be upgrading this pc with a new motherboard/hard drive and the like in a year or two. If i was to do this could i still use the XP cd and product key that i bought online from microsoft,on the new system i built and it would it be genuine and be able to download updates/ directx 10 ect ?
