windows 11 Gray box appears and disappears when I click "log in" in every microsoft app (settings, microsoft store, minecraft launcher, xbox app)

Every time I try to log in to a Microsoft-related app, I get a gray box that disappears after a second. I tried switching to a local account, the problem still persists and now I can't log in back in my microsoft account. I've tried /wsreset, sfc /scannow, etc., but nothing is working. I'm out of ideas. I'd like to note that logging in to a Microsoft website from a browser/phone works. The problem only happens when trying to log in to apps. I've attached photos of said gray box below. If anyone has any solutions, please share!
