windows 11 GOG Galaxy Game crashes since Windows 11 24H2 Update

I sometimes play an old game that's over 20 years old and was purchased through the gog.com site. The game (Alpha Centauri - The Planetary Pack) is an old DOS based game that has never failed to work on Windows 10 or until now Windows 11.Since the update, it now only works on Windows 10 and this is what happens on Windows 11:It is a turn based game and everything is fine until a turn ends. So whether I start a new game or load an in progress game, there are no errors but the game shuts down as soon as a new turn starts.I'm struggling to find out what in the update causes this or how to test wi
