windows 11 dsound.dll failing to load?

The error on the right is from when I try to launch fortnite. Ive replaced the file and attempted to register it but then i get the error message on the left. please help. I have also uninstalled fortnite and repaired the game files, and I uninstalled and reinstalled epic launcher as well.

Usually a restart will take care of this problem. If that doesn't work reinstall the app that caused the issue and update the audio drivers.
