Geek Posted November 13, 2010 Posted November 13, 2010 <div class="KonaBody"><p><img src="http://osxdaily.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/11/sn0wbreeze-21-download1.jpg" alt="sn0wbreeze 21 download" title="sn0wbreeze 21 download" width="500" height="392" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-9796" /></p> <p>If you use an <a href="http://osxdaily.com/category/iphone">iPhone</a> or iPad primarily with a Windows PC, you’ll be happy to hear that sn0wbreeze 2.1 is now available to download. Sn0wbreeze 2.1 serves a similar function as <a href="http://osxdaily.com/2010/10/20/pwnage-tool-4-1-download/">PwnageTool</a> does for Macs, allowing Windows-based jailbreakers to preserve their current baseband (to preserve a carrier unlock) and also to use custom IPSW files.</p> <p>Sn0wbreeze 2.1 works with iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 3G, iPad, iPod touch 4G, 3G, 2G, as well as the new Apple TV. The utility is verified to work with iOS 4.1 for iPhone and iPod touch, and iOS 3.2.2 for iPad, but there is no word on iOS 4.2 support yet. <span id="more-9794"></span></p> <h2 style="font-size:1.3em;">Download sn0wbreeze 2.1</h2> <p>You can get sn0wbreeze 2.1 <a href="http://ih8sn0w.com/index.php/download/file/sn0wbreeze21/pc">right now from ih8snow by clicking here</a>, remember that it is for Windows only.</p> <p>If you’re a Windows iPhone owner and you’ve been holding out for a jailbreak, sn0wbreeze might be why with it’s ability to create custom IPSW.</p> <p>Before you update to newer iOS versions, be sure to <a href="http://osxdaily.com/2010/11/05/save-shsh-blobs-with-firmware-umbrella/">save your SHSH blobs</a> first if you want to be able to unlock down the road. Then, if you need access to any particular IPSW or firmware versions, you can find them here for the various iOS devices:</p> <ul> <li><a href="http://osxdaily.com/2010/10/25/download-iphone-firmware-ipsw/">iPhone IPSW downloads</a></li> <li><a href="http://osxdaily.com/2010/10/30/download-ipod-touch-firmware-ipsw/">iPod touch IPSW downloads</a></li> <li><a href="http://osxdaily.com/2010/11/02/download-ipad-firmware-ipsw/">iPad IPSW</a></li> </ul> <p>Note these are not custom IPSW, these are the default firmware files from Apple.</p> </div> <p><a href="http://feedads.g.doubleclick.net/~a/olUygBh4BIK_gdRPgR65vwvVGT4/0/da"><img src="http://feedads.g.doubleclick.net/~a/olUygBh4BIK_gdRPgR65vwvVGT4/0/di" border="0" ismap="true"></img></a><br/> <a href="http://feedads.g.doubleclick.net/~a/olUygBh4BIK_gdRPgR65vwvVGT4/1/da"><img src="http://feedads.g.doubleclick.net/~a/olUygBh4BIK_gdRPgR65vwvVGT4/1/di" border="0" ismap="true"></img></a></p><div class="feedflare"> <a href="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~ff/osxdaily?a=aAQ042NCzcc:oI040SVMLzw:yIl2AUoC8zA"><img src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~ff/osxdaily?d=yIl2AUoC8zA" border="0"></img></a> <a href="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~ff/osxdaily?a=aAQ042NCzcc:oI040SVMLzw:V_sGLiPBpWU"><img src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~ff/osxdaily?i=aAQ042NCzcc:oI040SVMLzw:V_sGLiPBpWU" border="0"></img></a> <a href="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~ff/osxdaily?a=aAQ042NCzcc:oI040SVMLzw:D7DqB2pKExk"><img src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~ff/osxdaily?i=aAQ042NCzcc:oI040SVMLzw:D7DqB2pKExk" border="0"></img></a> <a href="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~ff/osxdaily?a=aAQ042NCzcc:oI040SVMLzw:7Q72WNTAKBA"><img src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~ff/osxdaily?d=7Q72WNTAKBA" border="0"></img></a> <a href="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~ff/osxdaily?a=aAQ042NCzcc:oI040SVMLzw:qj6IDK7rITs"><img src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~ff/osxdaily?d=qj6IDK7rITs" border="0"></img></a> </div><img src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/osxdaily/~4/aAQ042NCzcc" height="1" width="1"/> View the full article
